Rare Valley Resources, Inc., an Arkansas corporation, has purchased the Aloe Vera-based product line Aloe Advantage from Advantage Health Products, Inc. The Aloe Advantage product line currently includes superior wound care, health and grooming products for horses as well as an Aloe Vera drink infused with herbs for human consumption.

Aloe Advantage is known for its product formulations that benefit horses, as well as other animals. The spray cleanser is a cleansing agent and germicidal antiseptic that gently disinfects and numbs the wound. The Phenol Wound Treatment is a spray on hydro-gel that nourishes the wound, controls infection and provides a soothing, numbing action. The Aloe Wound Salve clings to the wound site to form an invisible bandage in order to restore healthy skin tissue and hair growth. The trigger sprayer design on the cleanser and treatment make for a simple and sterile application diminishing the possibility of cross contamination.

The Aloe Advantage line also includes Aloe-Med Shampoo. The medicated shampoo, which was rated as a "top gun" by the Horse Journal in 1998 and in the Horse Journal 2000 Horse Care & Tack Buying Guide, contains phenol which helps to alleviate itchy skin conditions including fungal problems. The line includes a deep penetrating Sports Rub that works to soothe aching muscles without creating skin irritations and Aloe Hoof Builder, a biotin laced product, which moisturizes dry, brittle hooves.
